World Water Day

Held on 22nd March every year since 1993, World Water Day celebrates the life-sustaining role of fresh water and also raises awareness of the 2 billion people across the globe living without access to safe water.

This environmental awareness day is marked globally with a variety of events. These can be theatrical, musical or lobbying in nature. The day often also includes campaigns to raise money for water projects.
